Pla d´en Cucut, 1992, Garnatxa negra
Situada a les Muntanyes de Poblet, al terme municipal de Vimbodí i Poblet, dintre dels límits de la DO Conca de Barberà. Plantada a 600m sobre el nivell del mar d´orientació Nord-Oest, situades entre el Paratge Natural d´Interès Nacional de la Vall del Montestir de Poblet.

Terroir

Sòls calcaris de textura argilo-llimós, profunds i amb baix contingut en matèria orgànica. Clima de muntanya, amb alts contrasts tèrmics dia i nit, hiverns freds i estius càlids. Els sols són extremadament pedregosos destacant la llicorella.

Notes de tast i maridatge

Color vermell robí amb reflexes violacis, capa mitja. En nas profusió de fruita vermella com son ara les maduixes i cireres, que es mostra sobre un llit làctic. També afloren notes de pètals de rosa. En boca és fluid, vellutat i llaminer, mostra una gran acidesa. Té notes minerals a grafit, també conté notes balsàmiques i de vainilla. Ideal per a harmonitzar amb peixos grassos com el rèmol però també uns peus de porc amb gambes de Vilanova, un arròs de conill, una mussaca de carbassó o un risoto de bolets.

Anyada 2021

La tardor de 2020 va ser fresca i plujosa, condicions que ajudaren a augmentar la capacitat hídrica de la planta i a assegurar un correcte agostament. Es donà un molt fred i plujós hivern, amb nevades històriques a tota la península ibèrica al gener, i per descomptat a les nostres vinyes. Gràcies al intens fred hivernal vam fer net d´enfermetats a la vinya. A partir del 14 de març començaren a pujar les temperatures i arribà la ‘primavera climàtica’. La brotació va ser 7 dies més tard que l´any 2020 i en la mitja dels 10 últims anys. La primavera i l´estiu van ser secs, amb menys de 60L de precipitació fins a mitjans de setembre, fet que va produir raïms sans i de poc pes. La qualitat del raïm va ser excel·lent, amb molt bona sanitat, per una anyada 2021 molt prometedora.

Verema i vinificació

Verema manual el 28 de setembre en caixes de 20 kg. amb raïm que prové exclusivament de la nostra Finca. Desrapat i maceració prefermentativa per a major extracció d´aromes i color. Elaboració amb la filosofia de la mínima intervenció possible. Criança de 8 mesos en botes de roure francès de 500L d´entre 1 i 4 anys.
